God is the Creator and Ruler of the universe. He has eternally existed in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. These three are coequal and are one God.

Jesus Christ is the Son of God – fully God and fully man. He was sent by the Father, conceived by the Holy Spirit, and born of the virgin, Mary. He died on the cross, the Just for the unjust, as a substitutionary sacrifice, and all who believe in Him are justified on the grounds of His shed blood. He rose from the dead according to the Scriptures. He is now at the right hand of the Majesty on high as our great High Priest. He will come again as King of Kings and Lord of Lords to establish His Kingdom of righteousness and peace.

The Holy Spirit is a divine person sent to indwell, guide, teach, gift, empower, and bear His fruit in every believer. He convinces the world of sin, of righteousness, and of judgment. He provides the Christian with power for living, understanding of spiritual truth, and guidance in doing what is right. He gives every believer gifts to be used in ministry to other Christians and to the world. We believe all spiritual gifts are in use today.

The Old and New Testaments, inerrant as originally given, were verbally inspired by God and are a complete revelation of His will for humanity and salvation. The Word constitutes the divine and only rule of Christian faith and practice.

Man was made in the image and likeness of God. God created man for relationship and glory, but he fell through disobedience incurring both physical and spiritual death. All men are born with a sinful nature, are separated from the life of God, and can be saved only through the atoning work of the Lord Jesus Christ. Man was created to exist forever. The gift of eternal life is offered to every individual. The destiny of the believer is union with God and everlasting joy and bliss. The destiny of the impenitent and unbelieving is existence forever in conscious torment.

Salvation is a gift from God has been provided through Jesus Christ for all people. Man can never make up for his sin by self-improvement or good works. Only by trusting Jesus Christ as God’s offer of forgiveness can man be saved from sin’s penalty of eternal death. Those who repent and believe in Him are justified by grace through faith, born again of the Holy Spirit, delivered from the dominion of darkness, transferred into the Kingdom of God’s Son, granted the gift of eternal life, and adopted as the children of God. Eternal life begins the moment one receives Jesus Christ into his life by faith. Because God gives man eternal life through Jesus Christ, the believer is secure in that salvation for eternity.

The Second Coming of the Lord Jesus Christ is imminent and will be personal, visible, and premillennial. Jesus will return to defeat His enemies and establish God’s Kingdom on earth as the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. This expectation is the believer’s blessed hope and is a vital truth which is an incentive to holy living and faithful service.
